Pros
It makes pressing so much easier. It just makes a crisper edge. It is thick and it had a slight odor, but that dissipated quickly. Absolutely a mist have for sewers.
Wool mat keeps ironing board out of sewing loft. Set up on countertop. Holds fabrics while ironing.
I highly recommend this product to anyone who sews or just to press some small item. This product allows you quilt piecing to lay very flat. I cannot wait until i press my next pieced together for my next quilt.

I don’t think it’s thick or dense enough to use alone so i place it on top of the old one when i need to iron something then under the old one to keep it from getting worn like the old one

But you might want to consider using 2 just to make sure the heat of the iron will not penetrate through to the surface you’re using

The heat from your iron will absolutely damage your cutting board and cannot be repaired
