Pros
To test any pc cooler it, normally, requires to plug it directly into the motherboard 3/4-pin fan connector. This fan controller allows me to test fans on the testbench without having to hook them up inside a pc case or connect to a motherboard.
It works perfectly. Plugged some chromax fans in instead and its definitely acceptable. Works as advertised with no complaints.
Build quality is great. All the wiring and connections are great. Connections are tight with no wiggle. Dial is nice, works really well.
Cons
Splitter is 2 pin not 3 or 4 pin. Useless for the project it was bought for.

This caused me to have to use different fans as the noctua industrials i originally picked are way too noisy at a constant 3040 power state
I bought this fan adapter connected a 120mm fan with grill and long support screws then placed it under the modem
Price
This fan controller works very well and is fairly inexpensive
Competitiveness
And it is even better that it includes the selector so you can test all the coolers speed range
There are others on amazon that are better quality though

Took off one start as the main power connector is easy to disengage loose

I use the controller to set the fan speed then connect the controller to a timer which turns the fans on an off periodically each day

Only thing i dont like is it has a minimum power state of 3v rather than cycling through 112v
