Cons

The specs on this adapter say they will fit the nighthawk r8000 x6 router. The adapter is too small and just slips out of the router. Every time the power supply is touched, the power fluctuates and loses power.

This is more like an 11 watt power supply, if that. Probably ok for loads under an amp. Hooked it up to my lab bench and discovered this power supply cannot provide more than 5a continuous.

Do not buy. Cheep junk. If it cause a shortcut, the result is horrible. I'm unsure if it's supposed to do this or not, but it doesn't sound safe?
