I know that regular thumb drives that are 128gb are only about 35 bucks but they arent able to plug in via usbc nor do they have the high speed xfer speeds like this which are up to 500mbps

I didnt keep exact track but certainly before 50gb of data was written to it the drive thermally throttled itself massively

Other big pros are that it just works theres really nothing to install or do just plug it in and bingo you see it as a drive on your device and its dead quiet

I didnt like using and external hard disk with a spinning disk as it took 24 times longer to readwrite to it as to my internal ssd on my apple mac
