Use lint free towels to clean and most importantly clean the window well. Multiple passes with the squeegee. This security film is far the best it’s thicker you can feel the difference between 4 mil.
Cons
Customer service is non-existent. Damaged product no support from both seller and amazon.

Paper towel wrap around the squeegee on the last pass so the water doesnt wick back in

The original window had the security film so it prevented the glass from shattering and the ball from entering into the room
