Do not use without calibrating first. Boiling water measures 95 degrees celsius. It says best brewing on the stem, but brewing with this would be a bad idea.
Just wasted about $35 and a couple hours of my weekend. Buyer beware. Don’t buy it," says seller.
Thermometer is not returnable because it contains a flammable fluid. Throwing away as not worth shipping cost of return.

I wasnt expecting nistlike accuracy from from a 10 thermometer but it seems to be pretty accurate throughout its range

Good for what ita advertised but before you buy be advised that this thermometer only goes up to 120c
