Pros
Using the generator as the primary power and solar as backup it works perfectly. I start the generator when i need more power and let it switch magically. It took a little longer than expected to setup.

I tested the failover with a 300watt inverter and it would just click a few times and fail
The left 2 connections are energized with 120v ac when the left side is connected

If you put power to both sides of this switcher when the auto function is active it will switch to the left side

The output of the left side and the right side usually go to the same place breaker box

There is no option on the switcher to connect the outputs

The connection points on the switch are big enough to accept two 8 gauge wires but not big enough to accept two 6 gauge wires

Pity because 50 amps needs 6 gauge wire
