Pros

Gbits/sec receiver. No startup issues, instantly recognized by pfsense and my diy router/firewall is up and replacing my dd-wrt routers.

Running windows 11 on a msi pro z690-a motherboard. Using this in a dell r720 server with vmware. This is the cheapest and best vmware-compatible card i could find for the money.

Make sure to download and install the intel proset tools to gain full functionality on windows. Card was detected by the kernel in both stock debian linux 11 and proxmox 7. Worked well in windows server 2016 and windows 10.

Card connects to mac mini w/10gb nic and nvme ssd system drive. Comes with a small form factor plate so you can swap out to fit your sff computer. Allows you to edit photos right off the nas. Can also be used to connect to older qnap nas.

With the price of those official modules it is almost as inexpensive to buy an official intel card with the modules
