I was caught in the coronavirus quarantine with my 13yearold webcam that worked fine for the occasional skype call but proved inadequate in the new zoom oriented world

The camera is an upgrade from whatever resolution my old cam was and i dont get complaints from zoom meetings about the low quality grainy image on my part

The microphone is built into the camera housing and seems much better than my old one

Just make sure you select the microphone in the software when using it

Since there is no software you actually have to open up an application that uses the camera to check out the functionality

The sound is excellent judging from the people on the other side of the zoom meetings but i have it in a fairly quiet place in my house so other places may have more problems

The attachment worked pretty well on my repurposed big screen tv but it seems like it would not fit a thicker screen

It can be used as a standalone camera on your desk but the angle would be very strange for most people on a video teleconference
