I have been wanting to get a backup camera for my wifes suv for a while but didnt feel confident enough to run a wire through the whole car to hook the camera up to the screen and didnt want to pay hundreds of dollars to have someone else do it

When i found this wireless camera i knew it was the answer to my problems

Install was relatively painless my wifes car has an access panel on the back hatch to the reverse lights i simply cut the plastic sheathing away from the power and ground wires and looped the power and ground wire for the camera around those and then covered it all up with electrical tape

From there i simply screwed the camera onto one of the holes for the licence plate and that was that

Now whenever i put the car in reverse the image almost instantly pops up on the screen

The only thing i can see that could be considered a downside is the size of the screen its quite large and if it had been any bigger i probably wouldnt have wanted to put it on my dash

I got it for the family car 2010 chevy and it was a life changer for my mom whom to be honest is not the best driver
