The only complaint that i have is that it says its good to 300 deg c but i measured the internal temp of a bbq through an opening and at 260 deg c the plastic around the probe actually melted

Tip remove meat from heat source before testing do not spike it on the barbie as you will get a false reading

However it does tend to switch itself on unpredictably therefore battery life may be short
