They are very thin plastic and most rip when they are opened

I use them for sprouting seeds but unfortunately the opening is not along the long edge as advertised but runs along the short edge

This means i struggle to insert halfdozen plies of damp paper towel loaded with seeds even if i cut the paper much smaller than i would like

Some of the bags break when you try and open them others are ok
