Pros
These are a real labor saver! I rinse them every couple of day and this set of skimmer socks lasts the entire year.
It catches a lot before going to filters. The good thing is that you won't need to hose down your cartridge filter very often. The amount of crud that it keeps out of the filter is amazing!
Cons
The netting tore. The mesh is too fine. They export our jobs and $$$ and import junk.
Socks start to * through the skimmer basket which then causes small hairline cracks in the basket. After one day the bottom of the sock would be torn out and ruined.

Never try to use this stocking in the basket for the pool pump
