Pros & Cons
Pros
Always have rechargeable aa on hand so just inserted them in these and instant d cell batteries. Converts my aas into cs. An aa battery (in the adaptor) weighs about 25% of that of a standard d-cell.
Worked like a charm. Worked perfectly. Works great with one oversight.
While these adaptors could never be considered to be tactical grade, i believe that they will last a long time. These are terrific.
The only complaint is that the white paper covering the batteries isn't glued down very well. Doen't affect the usage at all, just cosmetic. It easily clicks and secures the fit.
Would recommend to anyone. Great idea, great product. Worth the money and then some. Brilliant product. Cheap and effective.
Highlights
Quality
It is good for the price compared to other listings it may feel not up to quality but it handles rough treatment better than expected
I love the value for the money
I am still looking for a quality adaptor that hold 23 aas in a d cell
It should be noted both of these issues are remedied with higher quality adapters such as the eneloop aa to d adapters
Price
Cost saving by using adapters with rechargeable batteries
The spring in a maglite is too large to make contact with a aa battery
Competitiveness
I use them in a maglite led model
I ordered these so that i could use them with aa batteries with my brother ptouch p10 that uses c size batteries
For example larger maglite flashlights require a larger battery contact for the spring in the flashlight to make contact

Just be sure to push the aa battery until it protrudes a little at the positive end in order for the battery to make a good solid connection

These are basically a piece of plastic designed to hold a smaller sized battery in the middle of the battery compartment

These work ok but in my maglight i have to put a quarter in the tail end as the bottom spring is to big to make contact with the aa bottom

Yes you could just get rechargeable d batteries but if you are like me most of your devices use aa and only a small subset use d so theres little reason to make the investment into rechargeable d batteries
