Pros & Cons
Pros
Purchased this after needing to get stabilizer for our pool. This product packed inside a cardboard box was almost $20 cheaper than one in a plastic bucket. This is a must have for all outdoor pools.
Works like a charm. Raises cya as the pkg directions say it does. Normally it takes a week or more for other cya brands to completely dissolve, but only 3 days later i was measuring the expected 60ppm level.
It has a built-in ziploc enclosure, which will be great for using only small amounts as needed. I wish it would have come in a reusable box. I prefer the sturdier plastic containers still, but this was a thick enough plastic bag to where i feel it wil... Read More
The best price on stabilizer/cya around. Exceptional savings and quality product. A very good value priced stabilizer.
Cons
Pool is still greenish yellow from algae. Looks like bean bag filler. Will be getting rid of the rest of this granular product.
Bought different brand, 2 lbs. Do not purchase this product. Will do nothing to stabilize my poo.
Highlights
Quality
Product works like a charm and i dont have to put it in my car then move it to the shed
Product works well to stabilize my pool
Even with getting water tested and seeing i need x lbs of stabilizer i am not sure who really weighsmeasures their product
The product page shows two 10 bags however i received one 20 bag that is ok with me but could be an issue for some
Price
If the price is right next year ill purchase again
I used a different brand before but the price on that shot up too so i looked again and found this one
At the pool store the price is ridiculous
It comes in a bag instead of a bucket which i prefer but the price was much more affordable
Packaging/appearance
before using this product i had my chlorination at 100 and was just in the ok range of chlorine when tested
Competitiveness
Normally it takes a week or more for other cya brands to completely dissolve but only 3 days later i was measuring the expected 60ppm level
Its always odd to me to rate such straightforward products
Make sure that you look at the unit prices
