Pros & Cons
Pros
I make marinated eggs (ajitsuke tamago) for my tonkotsu ramen. It does the trick of piercing the egg. No real issue with cleanup, the hole punched is so small there was no leakage prior to or during cooking.
The magnet lets you stick this to the side of the fridge and poke the eggs right there. It's easy to keep on the fridge or in your utensil drawer due to its small size. It locks, and stores on my fridge or range hood!
Seems silly, but, hey, it works. This works perfectly. It works as designed and advertised.
Cons
Received a defective unit. Imported from japan, but made in china. The pin is too large in diameter and often cracks the egg.
