Pros
It connects with a standard 1/4 inch jack styled like a fender stratocaster 'out' tuning is an adventure compared to a 6-string guitar, but it stays in tune pretty well. It really is a beautiful instrument and has a great sound.
Cons
Many of the frets have an uneven/dented surface meaning the strings grind against the surface when you pull on them. There is a tone knob on this thing, but it doesn't do anything. It's like another volume knob.

Received this today i must say that i am throughly impressed by the quality of this instrument
The transducertype amplication works well and preserves the typical sitar sound
Its not concertsitar quality craftsmanship though see the photo of the headstock
Shipping
I was concerned about it being damaged in shipping but it was packaged in a very secure way
The packaging for shipping was incredibly impressive tons of bubble wrap
Packaging/appearance
Shipping was fast all the way from india packaging was unusual see photos but everything arrived safe and sound
Competitiveness
A real bargin for the 300ish price i paid
It is smaller than the pro model sitars i found on the internet

I should say that i am a guitarist and teacher by profession so i can only make my judgements based on what i know about guitars and other instruments in the lute family

Came in a soft case was disappointed that i didnt get the hard case that some of the other buyers received

The only complaint i have is that the mizrabs are way too small for adult fingers

If this is for a child then i can say that maybe theyll fit but other than that they are unusable for me 24 year old male classical guitarist
