Pro tip rather than removing the paper which reveals the sticky magnet part put the magnet in between your phone and your phone case and then youll be able to use the device with any phone and not just the one that youve stuck the magnet too

I think it is a combination of not being able to stick well to her otterbox case and the weight of her phone but the metal plate slides off and leaves a sticky mess
