Pros

The oasis cylinder is a little taller so my chair can sit taller which is great for taller people. The taller button on the oasis does work with the aeron.

If the second sleeve seems to be pushing away instead of pushing the top sleeve and base away, tighten the second sleeve again before resuming. Then use a small block of wood and get a hammer.

They use it to cosmetically cover the shaft/spring. The ingenious precision machined metal gadget used to to separate the chair bottom from the old cylinder's neck. Including gloves, tools and collars is a nice touch.

Cons

The product is just about useless. I have a back condition and now my chair is completely useless.

Office oasis aeron chair is too large to fit in the chair base. My shaft is 33mm and this shaft is quite a bit smaller. This thing starting sliding down by itself after only 3 months.

Ive used this for two of my vertagear gaming chairs and they work superbly

Had to use 2x4s to support the base and hit the old cylinder out
