Got this for my 3d printer. Because it is micro thin and is an excellent insulator, it is the right choice to install drop in type dcc decoders.
It is malleable, easy to apply, and leaves no residue. Sticky enough but not too sticky.

The digitizer glass replacements that i ordered which came direct from ifixit did not have the polyimide tape that is necessary to surround the edges of the digitizer and prevent phantom touch

I found i had to tape the edges of the 3rd party digitizer screen to avoid shorting issues
