Why i purchased this particular product was because i really needed a flat plug for behind a table in a walkway and didnt need a long cord just enough to use as a plugin for lamp but didnt drag on the floor

Fortunately it was the latter i shoved a small flat jewelers screwdriver and after a few minutes of pushing and twisting i was able to break through the plastic that had filled the space in front of the receptacle blades and pull the excess plastic out
