Pros
Take electricity from wall socket to device and powers it. We have a stacked washer and dryer that fits into a tight closet space. This extends the cord without popping the breaker.
Cons
The cord is a #14 wire which is only good for 15 amp circuits. Using the wrong cord can present a fire hazard. Amazon's recommendation should be corrected or removed.
