When you run a 30 or 50 foot line to it i get nothing at all

The only way it works if i hook straight into the 5ft cable it comes with which defeats the whole purpose because then i cant really mount it outside because anything over about 10ft cable you get no signals at all

Also i wanted to add i tried hooking this to my linksys wrt54g router and got no signal also i even bought the connection piece to fit my router port and no signal at all dont know why but it didnt work

I dont have any loose elements the antenna processed thru los angeles four days before the earliest expected delivery date
