The hose is a universal diameter but the connector on the hose was larger than the mating connector on the shark vacuum cleaner so i removed the connector from the broken shark hose and reused it on the replacement hose

If you purchase this as a replacement hose and find the connector doesn’t work with your vacuum cleaner check to see if your old hose has a removable connector
