Pros
We have a lumber and firewood business at our farm which is next door to us. I have it set up in a spot that seems to not be on the deer and coyote trail.

Easy to install on the corner post of porch. Easy setup. Perfect for us who are not tekkie people.
This works perfectly. Appears relatively well made and works as advertised. Item works great.
Has a real good variety of ringtones. Much better than ear splitting sounds of the cheaper one.
Cons
Over priced dollar store junk. Tried to troubleshoot it. T tried to reset by unplugging.

There is a youtube video if you cannot understand the instructions and you can set different tunes to alert you

My beam unit is about 200 feet from my house

Now i am alerted when my neighbor or anyone arrives the receiver did crapped out after two months of use kept alarming continuously with a crackly noise and wouldnt stop
