It definitely meets my expectations. Make sure to install brand new batteries and not used ones. My only complaint is that the keypad is battery operated.

Safe is neither fireproof or waterproof. There is no insulation, just a thin metal wall and no seals on the door.

You’re better off with the old school sentry unit that has no electronics. The keyboard is useless since you still have to use the key to open it to change the batt. The sentry safes are also junk. Should've read the reviews before purchasing.

Dry wall fasteners are a joke. Instructions say even humidity can cause malfunction. Did not receive mat or hanging bolts.
