Pros

W wedge style clamp has more contact area and provides substantial rigidity. Little to no chatter with 1/2 tools. What still is a puzzle is the provision of two cutting tool holder slots.

Purchased it for my grizzly g0768 lathe. Removed the original tool holder and replaced the mounting stud. After a small mod to my cross slide, this for my lathe perfectly.

Cons

Seemed to me to defeat the purpose of being solid.
