    I love the tactile click but the noise was driving my wife crazy

    I applied these to every key on my cm storm trigger keyboard with cherry mx red keys and they do help just dont expect them to mute it entirely

    Update 10172014after a year and a half of use these orings have dried and and started to crumble causing my key presses to be difficult

    It doesnt make the keyboard a lot more silent but it takes the clacky component of the sound away which is unpleasant for the ear

    Unless sound dampening is an absolute priority i would never recommend these to anyone with brown mx switches or anyone else using them for a keyboard
