The lid holds all the other accessories you'd need with cable to charge, cable for camera, extra wind *, corded lavs. The downsides are only 2. The flap keeps things segregated but it would be nice if the flap either zippered or maybe velcroed shut.

The only thing that might be a problem is the lid can be difficult to put on and take of when your hands have leftover product on them. Theses are great. Love to use these instead of my nails. No more cream under my nail.
