Backgammon is a fun game which is also surprisingly difficult to master. Finished surfaces throughout are smooth to the touch. All corners line up nicely. The playing area is smooth and nicely designed.

Board closes nicely on brass hinges. Magnets help keep the case closed. Some are slightly taller, also the round/circle shapes are not perfect, but they work as intended.

Wooden checkers and dice are extremely high quality. Wood grain gives just enough texture to make them easy to grip and pick up.

The game is gorgeous in terms of build quality. It has great craftsmanship. It's a very nice case and the workmanship is beautiful. If you want something that feels a little more hand-crafted and a little less factory feel, then great!

Have to say i was pleasantly surprised at how nice this game set looks. This set is really beautiful - the kind that you always see open on a table in high-end decorating photos. This woodronic backgammon set is top notch.

The playing surface looks to be a printed vinyl/pvc material. The checkers are wood, but that's all. It's embarrassing because i bought this as a gift and had it shipped directly to the recipient - thinking i was sending a nice classy gift.

Sturdy spinner. My granddaughter, age 3, loves the game and found it easy to learn. My grandson loves this game.

It appears that they handled the product before it had finished cooling during the injection molding process. Terrible packaging. Thanks for nothing, hasbro.

Not even one color of the cherries has a complete set of 10. I have small hands and it was hard for me to grasp the cherry pieces. There are games that exist that can engage tiny hands / big hands alike, which i think would be more fun for him.
