The finished surfaces throughout are smooth to the touch. All corners line up nicely. The playing area is smooth and nicely designed. All pieces work perfectly and smoothly. The pieces are are a good size and easy to use/move.

The checkers are wooden and i find the wood grain gives just enough texture to make them easy to grip and pick up. The dice are decent. Though the boxes are slightly smaller than what i normally use, as are the dice.

Wooden case itself is beautiful with smooth sides, i'm not worried about splinters. Board closes nicely on brass hinges and stays closed with magnets. The tokens feel nice, and the super easy to store or carry around.

Good craftmanship in joinery and inlays. Elegant design, great feel to the wooden pieces. Beautiful inlaid wood design.

The playing surface looks to be a printed vinyl/pvc material. The checkers are wood, but that's all. It's embarrassing because i bought this as a gift and had it shipped directly to the recipient - thinking i was sending a nice classy gift.

Laser-cut acrylic pieces make a very snug fit that doesn’t wobble. Comes in a sturdy plastic case with foam cutouts to keep them from getting scratched.

My only complaint is that the numbers are slightly hazy to read through the acrylic. This company truly cares about its customers. They appreciate their customers and strive to form a good relationship with them.

The product is very flimsy. Both stands have really faint markings. It is hard to read them. It's almost as though they are faded.

Pieces are extremely flimsy and hardly want to stand up. Will not support a miniature without it crashing or sliding down. The only way to get them to be sturdy is to glue them or tape them.
