Blanket works amazing for someone who sleeps very warm. It has also been used to help cool someone down from over heating. My gf's body is always hot but it kept her cool all the time.

I have a boxer mix that overheats very very easily. My cavalier really minds the heat. I have 4 yorkies and thought i would try this out in the summer for them when it is so hot out.

This item, the xlarge, was not quilted like the large. She chewed a hole through the material within 30 seconds. The gel pads work better for cooling, but don't hold up well and are of course toxic if torn.
