All in all, this is about the perfect set for the watercolor beginner. The paper is much like professional watercolor paper and is a pleasure to use. The color is accurate and good on the paper and it works well. This book is my technique book.

One side is textured; the other side is smooth. The texture is spot on and takes the watercolor paint well without pooling, smearing, pilling or wrinkling the paper.

This watercolor pad is really amazing because the paper is heavyweights and also spiral-bound. The paper is durable and withstands watercolors perfectly! It's nice, heavyweight paper that holds up to watercolor.

The size is perfect for throwing in my travel bag and using in a hotel at the end of a busy day to unwind. I love that these came in a 3 pack because they are perfect for slipping in my bag and being able to sketch on the go as i receive inspiration.

When it was dry i put a cutting die for “happy halloween’ on the inked sheet and it cut cleanly and without any trouble. The long edge is perforated for easy removal. The inks were absorbed quickly.

Good quality paper. Great paint pad. Perfect for watercolor pencils and gel ink pens.

My granddaughter loves to paint. These are a perfect size and weight. Grandkids use for all kinds of art projects. Great for kids painting. At a fraction of a class of canvases, it allows my kids to paint on thicker paper.

The pencils in this package came dislodged from the plastic package. This paper tolerates very little saturation, buckling and pilling. This is the cheaper low quality version of the fancier/spendier paper that i bought as a pad of twenty.
