It velcros around the body, which feels nice & secure and then it clips to keep it closed without question. The clasp is sturdy.
This harness is amazing on my little 4lb yorkiepoo. My lil guy stryder loves these voyager harnesses. My 11lb havanese loves her harness.
The xl barely fits my smallest dog who is 19 lbs. This harness has several flaws. The main flaw is that it chokes my dog if she pulls even a little bit.
The handle is great especially when she is super hyper. My pup has a giant head and frequently gets ear infections, so i appreciate that this harness has 3 clips, and i don't have to pull it over his head.
