It velcros around the body, which feels nice & secure and then it clips to keep it closed without question. The clasp is sturdy.
This harness is amazing on my little 4lb yorkiepoo. My lil guy stryder loves these voyager harnesses. My 11lb havanese loves her harness.
The xl barely fits my smallest dog who is 19 lbs. This harness has several flaws. The main flaw is that it chokes my dog if she pulls even a little bit.
It is particularly easy to fit with snap buckles on either side. The straps are very adjustable also for a perfect fit. I love the adjustable straps that make it fit perfectly.
I have a golden retriever that pulls like an ox when on a walk. The harness with the front attachment ring helps minimize this pulling. The back clip also allows me to use the harness in the car with my dogs seat belt.
Soak in baking soda and warm water for 10 mins. Then scrub with a soft toothbrush. My dog biscuit is happy with, it as is her owner.
One of the buckle piece broke. The straps are extremely thin. Not very good concept for the front ring. My 45lb female * is a puller and she broke the metal d-ring located on the back.
