Pros and Cons

Pros4

It has the classic feel of physical board with added digital convenience. The beginner modes are pretty great. It enjoys playing the sicilian as black against e4 and against d4. It also has a feature were you can watch gm games not live of course but ...  Read More

The pieces are a bit small and extremely light, but the magnets on the bottom compensates for that. The stylus has a spot it clips in snuggly, so it won't get lost. The booklet explains it all wonderfully.

The system gives its response on the led screen in normal chess notation. You just need the chessboard with the pieces. Technology is fantastic!

My seven-year-old boy loves to play chess, but i do not have time to play with him. It helps kids to improve their focusing ability and boosts creativity.

Pros3

The board is foldable and the pieces fit into the slots under the board. The elastic loops inside for the pieces are loose enough so it's easy to get the pieces in and out. The board folds nicely into a box that holds the pieces inside snug.

The pieces have the right shape (similar to staunton) and are of good size and construction. None of my pieces were crooked or oddly shaped as mentioned in some of the other reviews. But this is great and the pieces are nicely crafted.

The ranks and files are stamped with labels for reference. The chess notation on the board definitely helps those who know it when trying to get back into the hobby. The extra queens and markings on the chess board are a great help.

Cons2

Shape of the bottom of pieces make them imbalanced. The tactile sensation is that of the low end brown hollow interior doors. The chess board folds in half but the lines weren't exact.

Purchased this board only because of fast delivery promised. Really not a good purchase.
