This viking cookware series is a comparable in quality and durability to my older analon cookware set that lasted 24+ years. Would highly recommend it.
Overall i'm glad i opted for this pan -- the size increases its usefulness and it's now my goto pan. If you have the try-ply this is the real deal. It works perfectly well for our family of 4. Makes it more versatile.
Calphalon is very reputable my mom used there sauce pots and now so do i. It cooks evenly. Only problem with this or any other stainless steel cookware is that it easily gets scratches at the bottom.
