It's easy to haul around and use, and it looks and feels like it's made well. I like they took precautions with the switch safety. This would come in handy both at home and at work.

Followed instructions for cleaning but it was ceased up and didn't run. Worked for another week then froze up for good. Screen cage falls off every time i lift it out of pond.
In my experience with pumps i believe it's a sealed electrical part as when plugged in nothing happens. This pump has a 3 year warranty but alpine has yet to respond to my request for replacement.
