For reference, i have it mounted on an arm attached to a tv antenna mast at about 20 feet up, using 40 feet of rg-58u coax. Very easy to install. Attached to an extensional pool cleaning rod and bungeed to the tongue jack on a travel trailer.

Reception appears a tad weaker compared to a yogi style i have up as well, but only just slightly. Hooked this up to my midland mxt400 base unit and works great. The receive seems ok, but i can't test the transmit as i'm not yet licensed.

These rc boats are super fun! They are just as pictured.

Fast,lasts long,easy to maneuver. Used in our backyard pool but could be used on a lake. Lake season opens up and two weeks and we are so excited. My grandson enjoyed having boat "battles" in our pool.

Overall, this is a product that works as advertised. Lots of bang for not a lot of bucks.

I am also shocked at the high rating this product has. Would not recommend. Did not function correctly. Must have been a returned item.

Bought this first time and propellor on red boat was badly cast and split. Flashing red only. The boats are not waterproof! They have a puddle of water in them with each use.
