For reference, i have it mounted on an arm attached to a tv antenna mast at about 20 feet up, using 40 feet of rg-58u coax. Very easy to install. Attached to an extensional pool cleaning rod and bungeed to the tongue jack on a travel trailer.
Reception appears a tad weaker compared to a yogi style i have up as well, but only just slightly. Hooked this up to my midland mxt400 base unit and works great. The receive seems ok, but i can't test the transmit as i'm not yet licensed.

The antenna works great once you deal with getting it set up. Holds firm at 95+ highway speeds on a suv.
Standing wave ratio (swr) is the ratio of the reflected to radiated signal. Works great with my 50 year old ge 40 channel cb. I switch from cb to 10 meter, and it works on both.
The whip (rod) has a sharp edge on one end, which can easily cut skin. There is no rounded end to prevent a stabbing injury. Slid right off the roof at 50mph and landed in the bed.
It works, but i am wholly disappointed by the rust. It says it handles 300 watts and only had 30 watts run through it. The screw-shell connector is cheap and does not fit onto a radio very well. Do not buy this antenna.
