They have both been washed 2-3 times, and no pilling or fraying.

This could be used in the summer time. They are also perfect for layering on chilly nights. We live in a literal mitten (mi state) it's thick enough for me to get warm on the sofa or as a cozy layer in bed beneath the down duvet.

This blanket is everything i like in a blanket. My cat approves as well! Really like these blankets. Would recommend them.

The taupe color looks most like a beige. Its more of a darker shade of lime green. Its very noticeable in the still photos.

Only one side is soft, and the other is scratchy, and corse. They are made of the same material. The thick underside furry material is shorter than others. It is very pretty and soft but it sheds and pills everywhere.
