It's generously sized - i have a twin mattress and there's more than enough excess. Matches my bedspread & shams. Dresses a bed nicely, even without bedspread or coverlet.

It's a little heavier than a typical summer blanket-but with my ac on it’s perfect. It isn't heavy or thick and yet provides just enough warmth for a moderately air conditioned room.

This blanket is beautiful, comfortably light, and silky. It is the softest cotton imaginable. I really like the cottony feel and weight of this blanket.

Product name claims it's soft & lightweight. If you want a lightweight blanket this is not it. The top sheet slides off the bottom sheet.
