It is lots tighter and only had a few inches fitting under the mattress. If you open the clasp too far it pushes down on the clip so it won't go on the sheet. You have to kind of hold the clasp almost perpendicular to the clip itself.
The problem is the design and durability. Have to flip mattress to hook on sheet. Six is not enough of the straps.
