The vibration helps tremendously! The vibrate modes does the trick. Vibration is very strong and comes with special batteries to ensure a long working lifespan. The * part uses aas (i think) while the clock uses aaas.

This little clock dependably awakens me even in a sleep deprived state! The vibration always wakes me. The beeping isn't loud, but will wake most people.

The sonic alarm is 100 percent reliable. I like it because it is small and portable. Nice little clip leash to insure that it doesn't * itself off the table.

I sleep like a * bear in hibernation, tossing turning grinding my teeth slobbering on my self the whole nine. Flashing light,which wakes me,the shaking thing actually wakes me. Definitly would recommend for hard sleepers.

Great alarm clock and with battery, the clock keeps time for days while being unplugged. After ordering and returning over 8 clocks and clock radios this is perfect. It's extremely effective, durable, and a worthy purchase.

Sonic bomb is louder than any other alarm clock. The little puck vibrates more than i would have thought. The vibrate is pretty strong.

These are mandatory, and strictly worse. Pure junk. The product is defective.

For something so highly-rated and a company catering to deaf and hearing-impaired, this is terrible. The lcd screen has issues after about 6 months to a year rendering the alarm clock useless.
