It works fine as a splatter mat in my paint studio. Has little bumps on the bottoms so it doesn't slide on my hard wood. Bumpy backing holds it on table.

One of my cats is fond of peeing where the cover meets the box sometimes resulting in mess outside the box. The moister barrier prevents any damage to my carpet. I have an 8th grader who is now potty training.

Has held up after about three machine washes and drying on low setting. Good material, looks like its washable, have nt washed it yet.

Comes in a nice reusable bag for storage. Easy to clean and wipe off and store right under the chair itself. Under any kind of project - like carving pumpkins. Washes in machine and holds water spills.

The boon high chair bunches up all the time. The mat is too difficult to clean. I can't recommend this mat.
