The thick cushion prevents the tray from toppling over. The storage compartment is deep. Stows my remotes in tray & pillows in compartment. Top pieces fit nice and snug.

The charcoal gray fabric is perfect for a living room. The denim is perfect size, perfect color, perfect pattern. I’m very particular about my decor.

Ottoman is stylish, sturdy, with great storage. Only complaint is the odor inside the ottoman. The only thing that could have made this better would be to have wheels/castors on the feet, so it would slide on carpet more easily.
