Longevity is still an unknown but these are at least comparable to the other bulbs. This is my second purchase and they have lasted with no burnouts.

These are very bright, compared to the old 40 watt incandescent. No more dim gloomy room. I suggest that amazon adds lumens to the filter list and allow specifc numbers rather than ranges.

Just as warm as a halogen with the benefit of not getting hot. Color temperature specification of 3000k is also accurate. Arrived on time and as expected. Priced appropriately, too.

The bulb is 1600 lumens which is a lot. This bulb is installed in an enclosed fixture on the outside of a house.

Great addition for task lighting at full light and adjusts down for ambient lighting while eating or watching tv.

They are brighter and last longer. They lighten the glass globes which had a rustic appearance.

The replacement is already dead after one day. Have gotten much worse - and are not unusable. If approximate life of 1 yr is acceptable, than you should buy these. Avoid this manufacturer like the plague.

These bulbs are rated at -4 farenheit. This is a very low number, which results in poor color production wherever this bulb is installed. Under no circumstances should a cheap chinese bulb produce such results!
