It's a good microphone that delivers a great sound and it's versatile. Even without the dm1, it sounds great. The audio sound quality is amazing. Looking for a matching pop filter like the heil pr40 unit for this.
Shure's usb mic is a great alternative to the sm7b. It also doubles as a great mic for zoom calls. You can also use it as a condensor mic, but unless you're a pro podcaster, i'm sure you'll be fine.
Included app makes tuning a breeze. It seems though, that the nicer to nicest hardware makers also have the most craptastic software. I do my settings through obs (streaming software) and it's cherry.
The built-in headphone jack allows for zero-latency monitoring. It’s easy to use (usb plug and play), though i wish it natively was usb-c. A headphone jack for monitoring is integrated right into the microphone as well.
Not compatible with ipad pro (usb-c). The mic is smaller than it looks in the photos. Huge huge problem with that is that it uses micro usb for the connection.
Do not recommend this product and seller to anyone. The return/exchange process is a nightmare. This is a slimmed down sm7b that they see everyone using for $250.
Wow. This is live. Completely satisfied. Very impressed. It sounds good on my zoom podtrak p4.
This microphone is much clearer than my shure sm58. It has enough lows to sound full and rich. Works as good as a behringer. Better for practice than shure and sennheiser e835.
The microphone itself is heavyweight, but don't expect to be able to use it as it comes. No on and off button. No where to put batteries. Please do not debit my account.
