Pros and Cons

Pros3

The mv7 is a versatile microphone that delivers excellent sound quality. The build quality is top-notch. My only nitpick is the foam windscreen is not as good as it could be.

The mv7 has a dual usb/xlr output. It also has a built-in headphone jack with zero-latency monitoring. It has onboard gain control, zero latency monitoring, and headphone mix.

The mv7 captures every nuance of your voice with precision and detail. Its intuitive touch panel controls allow you to fine-tune your audio settings. It has a cardioid polar pattern, which helps to reduce background noise.

Cons3

Overall, this is disappointing. The software is not optional it is mandatory. With all the much less expensive options available, this definitely is a disappointment.

The micro-b port on the mic is extremely unreliable as a slight movement on the cord can result in disconnection. It's also a little puzzling that there is no stand for the mic.

The issues with the dell xps 13 seem to be related to drivers. Fixing it requires switching between devices or a reboot. The solution for linux is long and painful.

Pros5

Mics snares and guitar amps just fine. Works as good as a behringer. Similar to shure mics.

These are great mics, but a little bit delicate. Great as a utility mic when all your other mics have been assigned to other uses. No complaint with this microphone.

Weymic wm58 performs pretty well considering it’s so cheap. Makes you wonder why the shure version costs a hundred bucks.

The construction is fairly bulletproof, all metal body and windscreen. Super well-built. Very well constructed microphone. It feels sturdier, and i just dropped it and it still looks and works like a microphone.

Shure sm58 and sennheiser e835. Great for practice, but not as good as a shure sm57.

Cons1

High end is very brittle and thin in a bad way. No on and off button. No where to put batteries.
