It says charcoal derived from coconuts, so i was thinking it may have at least a little coconut flavor, but no, it just tastes like mint flavored charcoal. The consistency is very strange. It's just shy of runny.

There's no data behind the claims that activated charcoal is safe or effective. Charcoal toothpaste can degrade enamel and reveal the dentin layer of your teeth. You're not supposed to use mouthwash after-the dentist recommends you refrain.

When i spit out after brushing the entire sink turns black and i have to wipe it down everytime i brush. The black is very difficult and stains everything it touches.
