They work like regular lightbulbs, and the lantern hooks are definitely convenient. They're very bright, but with a lampshade, you would never notice. Much better than candles or lantern.

Electrical outage. Beats walking around with a flashlight. I am used to having a generator but sold my home and living temporarily in a rental, so no generator.

The bulb is huge and doesn't fit in most of my lamps. You have to turn them off at the lamps as well, which is rather inconvenient. Your money would be better spent on a rechargeable led lantern or flashlight.

Be forewarned. Only 1 works. Very disappointed. It's sad when you purchase something for an emergency situation and it turns out to be garbage.

Not sure on longevity, but will update if there's an issue. It is difficult to find a bulb of this style that gives over 1000 lumens.

Nothing on the bulb or on box indicates anything about actual wattage, lumens, etc. Measured with lux meter 5 of these bulbs produce less measured output than 6 60w incandescent bulbs!

Started flickering. Sort of wet is it was emitting something liquid. This item keep blinking!

Do not buy this product. Do not recommend at all. This manufacturer has no quality control. Very disappointed with my purchase.
